Artist Biography

Eric Chan, professionally known as eepmon, is a pioneering digital and generative artist, coder, and creative entrepreneur from Canada, renowned for his innovative fusion of art and technology. His creations span collaborations with global brands, including Marvel Entertainment, Canada Goose, Peanuts Comics, and Xbox, alongside exhibitions in galleries, museums, and national cultural institutions.

As a cultural advocate, eepmon served on the Board of the Canadian Museums Association from 2017 to 2021, shaping cultural policies and advancing the creative industries. Representing Canada on Minister-led trade missions to Japan (2023) and China (2018), he forged impactful B2B partnerships that strengthened Canada’s global creative footprint. For Asian Heritage Month 2024, his digital mural at the Canadian Museum of History addressed the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1923, sparking intergenerational dialogue and unity.

In December 2024, eepmon collaborated with Hollywood icons JC Stunt Team, director Andy Cheng, the Bruce Lee Foundation, Shannon Lee, and K-Star Academy co-founder Philip Sahagun to create a stunning motion graphics video for the 22nd Unforgettable Gala in Beverly Hills.

A passionate STEAM advocate, eepmon bridges art and data in works such as INTERSECTIONS and Chaos Bloom–part of the Canada Council Art Bank collection. His creative vision extends to TEDx performances, keynote talks, and Web3 innovations, including his acclaimed NFTs such as CityLights and EEPVERS.

Honoured by the Government of Canada for his international artistry and cultural influence, eepmon has received national accolades, including being named a Library and Archives Canada Scholar in 2023 and a Banff Forum ABJ Fellow in 2024.
