Selectism
The Curated Standard of Design (November, 2013)
In November 2013, my collaboration with Canada Goose was featured in Selectism, a publication revered for its focus on premium craftsmanship and timeless design. While other blogs focused on hype, Selectism was the destination for those who appreciated the “why” and “how” behind a product.

Being featured here was an endorsement of the Synthesis Parka as a sophisticated piece of technical design rather than a mere seasonal trend.
Why this feature remains a legacy highlight:
∙ Focus on Craftsmanship: Selectism was known for its deep dives into quality. Their coverage highlighted the Synthesis Parka’s unique technical details—from the custom-dyed fur to the generative digital lining—positioning it as a “Modern Classic.”
∙ The Refined Audience: Selectism reached a demographic of creative directors, architects, and designers. It introduced the EEPMON aesthetic to an audience that values the intersection of “High-Tech” innovation and traditional “High-Touch” quality.
∙ The Highsnobiety Lineage: As the editorial-forward arm of the Highsnobiety network, Selectism provided the intellectual weight that helped the Synthesis Parka cross over from streetwear into the realm of luxury collectible.
