Commissioned by the City of Ottawa Public Art Program, Hazel Lyrics is a collaborative public art installation created by EEPMON and artist Lynda Cronin. The project consists of a series of twenty-six unique designs that capture the vibrant energy and rapid evolution of the Kanata West community in Ottawa. By blending organic and animal forms with urban motifs, the artists achieved a visual consistency that reflects the balance between the region’s natural landscape and its identity as a global technology hub.

The series explores five central themes: environment, commerce, communications, culture, and high-tech. These motifs serve as a narrative of growth and renewal, celebrating the unique character of Kanata today. Through this partnership, EEPMON’s digital-generative aesthetic was translated into the public realm, creating a lasting dialogue between the community’s heritage and its future-facing aspirations.
