In 2007, EEPMON was featured in the Tiger Translate GOLD showcase, a global initiative by Tiger Beer designed to bridge the creative gap between Eastern and Western cultures. The campaign served as a high-profile platform for artistic “translations,” where creators explored the intersection of heritage and modern digital aesthetics.

Tasked with interpreting the theme of GOLD, EEPMON produced a series of five distinct digital artworks. These pieces moved beyond the literal color, instead treating “Gold” as a symbol of value, energy, and the “Golden Era” of digital-analog fusion.

The Creative Direction: “Tiger Robot” and Beyond
A centerpiece of this collection was the Tiger Robot. This work exemplified the EEPMON signature style: a chaotic yet meticulously balanced “intertwined” composition.

Tiger Robot: This piece reimagined the traditional Tiger Beer iconography through a futuristic, mechanical lens. By blending organic feline forms with intricate robotic components and generative patterns, the “Tiger Robot” symbolized the roar of the new East—technologically advanced yet deeply rooted in traditional power.

The Quintet of Gold: Across the five pieces, the series explored the texture of the “Golden” theme through high-contrast line work and dense, layered symbolism. Each piece acted as a visual ecosystem, where microscopic details—from mechanical gears to abstract flourishes—coalesced into a larger-than-life narrative.

Cultural Impact
The Tiger Translate project was more than just a gallery feature; it was a global dialogue. EEPMON’s contribution helped define the visual language of the 2007 campaign, showcasing how digital tools could be used to celebrate traditional Asian roots. The work was featured in the Tiger Translate GOLD publication, cementing EEPMON’s role as a leading voice in the international digital art scene during a pivotal moment of global creative exchange.
