In celebration of Canada’s sesquicentennial, EEPMON created Flowers of Confederation, a commemorative digital artwork that honours the nation’s 150th anniversary. The piece serves as a botanical and symbolic map of the country, intricately weaving together the official floral emblems of all 13 divisions—representing the ten provinces and three territories.

The artwork utilizes a generative design approach to weave these organic symbols into a unified visual narrative. By focusing on the unique flora of each region, the piece celebrates the diverse natural heritage found from coast to coast to coast. It stands as a permanent artistic record of the country’s milestone anniversary, blending traditional botanical illustration with modern digital craftsmanship.
