SMARTER. FASTER. TOUGHER.
39 Parliament Street, Toronto, Canada
July 8th – October 12th, 2015
Curated by Marie O’Mahony, Professor of Digital Futures at OCAD University and a leading expert in advanced textiles, the Canada Goose × EEPMON Synthesis Parka was featured in the landmark exhibition “Smarter. Faster. Tougher.” This pop-up showcase, held at the Design Exchange (DX) satellite gallery in Toronto’s Distillery District, explored the intersection of sports, high-performance technology, and contemporary fashion.

The Synthesis Parka was highlighted in the exhibition’s “Ethnography” zone, which examined the relationship between culture and design. As a limited-edition garment—with only 150 pieces produced worldwide—the parka serves as a premier example of “wearable art.” It features a complex interior lining created by EEPMON that weaves together a visual narrative of Canadian and Eastern symbols, including 13 hidden provincial flowers and nine geese flying toward the rising sun.
