On November 17, 2017, the Canada Science and Technology Museum unveiled YOURS TO DISCOVER, a permanent 100 x 17-foot art installation by EEPMON, created in collaboration with Tanya Woods of the social impact initiative, Kind Village. The mural serves as a visual narrative exploring the intersections of innovation, ingenuity, and curiosity to advance science, technology, and social impact.

The mural and the accompanying Yours to Discover – Online Experience provide a visual narrative exploring the intersections of human innovation and ingenuity. The project highlights the drive to advance science, technology, and social impact across the past, present, and future.

This installation connects the analogue with the digital and heritage with the future. The production process itself mirrors this innovation: designed digitally using vector tools, the piece was etched onto a tactile acrylic surface using 3D printing techniques—a nod to the evolution of artistic craftsmanship.

The collaborators aim to inspire individuals to use the museum’s space to spark their own artistic and social innovation projects. By embodying the ‘see, feel, think, do’ experience, the project demonstrates the power of art as a vehicle for social impact.

The mural’s flow integrates with the museum’s unique ceiling design, leading viewers on a journey led by eepMonkey and Banana Bird. Its massive scale creates a timeline of Canada’s innovation story, reflecting a vision of human spirit and ingenuity through a lens of vibrant optimism.
