EEPMON participated as a panellist in the GEI: ART Symposium 2025, hosted by the National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC). The discussion explored the intersection of art and artificial intelligence, focusing on how AI is reshaping creative processes and fostering innovation. During the session, EEPMON shared insights on the cultural and ethical implications of transformative technology and its impact on traditional notions of artistry. Curated by Marie O’Mahony, Professor of Digital Futures at OCAD University and a leading expert in advanced textiles, the Canada Goose × EEPMON Synthesis Parka was featured in the landmark exhibition “Smarter. Faster. Tougher.” This pop-up showcase, held at the Design Exchange (DX) satellite gallery in Toronto’s Distillery District, explored the intersection of sports, high-performance technology, and contemporary fashion.

The Synthesis Parka was highlighted in the exhibition’s “Ethnography” zone, which examined the relationship between culture and design. As a limited-edition garment—with only 150 pieces produced worldwide—the parka serves as a premier example of “wearable art.” It features a complex interior lining created by EEPMON that weaves together a visual narrative of Canadian and Eastern symbols, including 13 hidden provincial flowers and nine geese flying toward the rising sun.
