<p>In November 2008, EEPMON was featured in <a href="https://ricepapermagazine.ca/" target="_blank">Ricepaper Magazine</a>&#8216;s 4th quarter issue.</p>
<p>Ricepaper was a nation-wide quarterly publication founded in 1994/1995 by the late Jim Wong-Chu and the Asian Canadian Writers’ Workshop (ACWW). It was devoted to showcasing Asian-Canadian artists, writers, performers and innovators. For over two decades, it served as a vital platform for both established and emerging voices, including notable figures like David Suzuki, Joy Kogawa, and Sook-Yin Lee.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"Included in the issue was EEPMON's collaboration with Robert Bolton a.k.a arowbe–a 6 page comic/narrative excerpt titled, Orpheus. This comic was also performed live at the Vancouver Art Gallery's KRAZY! The Delirious World of Anime + Comics + Video Games + Art exhibit.</p>

<p><a href="https://ricepapermagazine.ca/" target="_blank">Ricepaper</a> is still operating, though its format has changed over the years:</p>
<p><span class="bTxt">Print to Digital:</span> In April 2016, the magazine ceased its quarterly print production to become a fully digital, web-based publication.</p>
<p>It remains very much active today (as of 2026) and its mission continues to be the longest-running literary magazine of its kind in Canada, maintaining its mandate to challenge mainstream perspectives and provide a dedicated forum for Asian-Canadian creative work.</p>
