The Delirious World of Anime + Comics + Video Games + Art Exhibit (May 17th &#8211; September 7th, 2008). <p>On September 30th, 2010 we resurfaced Orpheus for TED× Toronto with completely new illustrations with the addition of music soundscapes composed by Andrew Zealley. Over 100 illustrations were created, composed and programmed exclusively for the performance. Controlled via keyboard, the illustrations follows in tangent with Robert Bolton&#8217;s spoken word text and Andrew Zealley&#8217;s ambient compositions.</p>
<p>I hand drew over 100 illustrations and were inked in sumi. Video below shows the process of my inking on one of them.</p>

<p>In 2008, EEPMON was commissioned to design the album artwork for <strong>Skintone</strong>, a collection by the late legendary Tokyo-based electronic composer <strong>Susumu Yokota</strong>. Known for his atmospheric and genre-defying soundscapes, Yokota’s music provided a rich sonic foundation for a visual translation into EEPMON’s signature digital-generative aesthetic.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-a-eepmon.jpg" alt="susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-a-eepmon" width="788" height="420" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-643" srcset="https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-a-eepmon.jpg 788w, https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-a-eepmon-300x159.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-b-eepmon.jpg" alt="susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-b-eepmon" width="788" height="459" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-644" srcset="https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-b-eepmon.jpg 788w, https://eepmon.com/eepdwp/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/susumu-yokota-skintone-collection-b-eepmon-300x174.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px" /></p>
<p>The design for the <em>Skintone</em> collection captures the ethereal and intricate nature of Yokota’s compositions. By blending organic forms with precise digital detailing, the artwork reflects the &#8220;High-Tech, High-Touch&#8221; philosophy, bridging the gap between avant-garde electronic music and contemporary visual art. This collaboration remains a significant entry in EEPMON’s portfolio, representing a cross-cultural dialogue between Canadian digital craftsmanship and Japan’s influential electronic music scene.</p>
