The generative artwork Constellations – The Flow of Belonging was featured at the Canada Pavilion during Expo 2025 Osaka. Representing a high-level collaboration between the Library and Archives Canada (LAC) Creator-in-Residence program and Global Affairs Canada, the piece served as a digital centrepiece for the pavilion’s thematic exploration of cultural renewal.

Developed using archival census data, the work transforms statistical records into a dynamic, living visualization of Canadian migration and community building. By integrating these historical datasets into a generative format, EEPMON created a “living digital bridge” that connected Canada’s past to its present global presence in Japan. The installation highlighted the intersection of heritage and innovation, showcasing how data-driven art can communicate complex narratives of identity and belonging to an international audience on the world stage.
