<p><span class="bTxt">陳詩亮 Eric Sze-Lang Chan</span>, known professionally as <span class="bTxt">EEPMON</span>, is a digital generative artist whose practice sits at the intersection of algorithmic precision and cultural storytelling. For over two decades, he has pioneered a <span class="bTxt"><strong>&#8220;High-Tech, High-Touch&#8221;</span></strong> philosophy—synthesizing code, real-time data, and traditional media, exploring the nuances of identity and cultural heritage in the digital age.</p>
<p>From transforming weather data into living art (<a href="https://eepmon.com/generative-art/" target="_blank"><em>INTERSECTIONS</em></a>) to redefining digital ownership through his <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/citylights-v2" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>CityLights NFTs</em></a>, EEPMON&#8217;s work is characterized by a deep engagement with public memory. As the inaugural <a href="https://www.canada.ca/en/library-archives/corporate/about-us/strategies-initiatives/creator-residence.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Creator in Residence</em> at <strong>Library and Archives Canada (LAC)</strong></a>, he bridges static history and generative evolution—a theme explored in his murals for the <a href="https://eepmon.com/2017/10/canada-science-technology-museum-100-foot-art-installation/" target="_blank">Canada Science and Technology Museum</a>, the <a href="https://eepmon.com/2024/04/canadian-museum-of-history-x-eepmon-digital-art-mural-2024/" target="_blank"><strong>Canadian Museum of History</strong></a> and his expansive generative piece using Canadian census records, <em>Constellations – The Flow of Belonging</em>, debuted at the <a title="Osaka Expo 2025 EEPMON Library and Archives Canada Creator in Residence Generative Artwork Exhibited" href="https://www.canada.ca/en/library-archives/corporate/updates/2025/creator-residence-constellations.html" target="_blank">Expo 2025 Osaka Canada Pavilion</a>.</p>
