EEPMON served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Museums Association (CMA), contributing to the development of its national strategic plan for 2020 and beyond. This roadmap was designed to strengthen the museum sector through updated public policy advocacy, professional skill-building, and enhanced community connections across Canada.

The CMA serves as the national voice for Canada’s museum community, representing a diverse range of institutions from small volunteer-led organisations to major national museums. The association’s mission focuses on sustaining the sector and ensuring that the cultural lives of millions of Canadians remain enriched by museum experiences.

EEPMON served as a keynote speaker panellist to launch the 70th national conference of the Canadian Museums Association. The session featured a dynamic dialogue regarding the role of museums in the digital age. Fellow panellists included Alex Cherry of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and Sebastian Irvine of the Royal British Columbia Museum. The presentation was moderated by Angela Cassie of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
